Joy’s Story

Hi, my name is Joy! I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and now reside in Dolton, IL. I graduated from Thornridge High School in 2018 and earned my Bachelor's in Biology from Alabama A&M. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in STEM Education and am set to walk the stage in 2026.

My love for reading began with The Invention of Hugo Cabret. Books became my escape, a safe place when I wasn’t ready to face certain realities. Now, reading is more than just an escape—it’s a passion I love sharing with others.
